FIRESTONE: The Legend Of The Hawk - New Empire / Heliopolis By NightNow you just knew I was going to rave about this:-) I mean, c'mon, "The Legend Of The Hawk"! And it's spacerock, albeit it in an 80s tinged reflection of spacerock. "New EMpire" is the killer, creeping in on an insinuating bass and synth line, before turning into Julian Cope on one of his less mad days. Lots of swooshes, lots of bleeps, possibly even a bling, just the way I like it, aha aha. Now all they need is a support slot with the real thing.
