Mugwump - 3 track demo

Mugwump have reemerged after a protracted silence with three new tracks - "Jaded", "Sorrow" and "Trade". Manager Dave reckons that these three songs are Mugwumps best yet. Not that he has a vested interest in saying so:-) However, considering this is a no frills demo he may not be that wide of the mark. We once branded Mugwump the British Tea Party but here they've moved sideways from such lazy comparisons. The songs are less immediate but have attained a new level of resonance. There's an increasingly dark wave approach to Marks vocals and moments of near ambience creep into "Sorrow" the stand out track of the three. We like this a lot and would heartily recommend that you get a hold of their "Futures Echo" CD which is still available.

On the downside, guitarist Ben Kaye has reluctantly left, so if you fancy yourself as a guitarist get in touch with Mr Manager, Dave Burton. They're also looking ot expand by taking on a rhythm guitarist as well as a new lead guitarist so chance your arm.
