Lord Litter - Downpayment

Those of you who make a habit of dipping into the underground don't have to paddle around for long before bumping into Lord Litter. Whether through his comprehensive (now defunct) mailing list or through the music of Litter & The Lazy Sleepers or through his incredibly diverse radio show at Radio Marabu - www.indieport.com, Lord Litter is everywhere doing his best to promote our beloved underground.

After leaving The Lazy Sleepers he took a step back and decided to concentrate on his own music. "Downpayment" is the result. 10 tracks covering a range of styles, it was written, produced and performed by LL in his home studio. Now if you like things straight forward you may have trouble here, for LL likes to genre hop. Something I am heartily in favour of. there are some gems here, "Love Freak", "The Heart Of Your Hurricane", which is scary... and a tribute to the Midlands finest rock and roller "Mr Gibbons" after Steve of that ilk.

This is a throughly enjoyable offering and it is often on repeat play on what used to be the Death Deck (note: - sadly the Death Deck passed away recently and has been temporarily replaced by the Baby Boombox).
