Red Letter Day

RED LETTER DAY - Chance Meetings - The Best Of Red Letter Day 1985-1999 ( Zip Records)

Blimey, Red Letter Day are still on the go. I shall refrain from mentioning what year I last saw them in, suffice to say that last decade, dead century doesn't even come close:-(

Charlie Harper digs them, so you shouldn't really need any further recommendation, but if you insist.. Punk, pink and more punk. Agitating propaganda. Think of the Ruts, bow down your head in sorrow, then bounce back up again, as the insistent riffs and clarion call lyrics remind you of what it was like to be young and in hate.

They seem to slowing down on the gig front, so why not do yourself a favour and buy this. UK punk doesn't come much better than on "More Songs About Love And War" and "Wherever You May Run", which John Peel wet himself over in 1985, and still sounds as awesome as ever.
