You will know that the Allman Brothers are a passion, you will know that Carolina Dreams by the Marshall Tucker Band is a desert island disc of mine. You will know that every time there is a brief flowering of southern rock, I get over excited. I am over excited yet againJ

The BFE band plays southern rock the way I like it, gritty, hard and emotional. If you're looking for pointers think the 2nd wave of SR, think Molly Hatchet and Doc Holliday rather than Poco and the Outlaws. Of the 5 tracks on offer two are absolute belters, "Drunk Hillbilly" and "Higher Ground" are first rate southern stompers. The 1st CD is out now, the 2nd follows soon. Much recommended.
