Best known round our way for their collaboration with Howard Marks on "Grow More Weed", said track reemerges here sans Marks, but it's one of the lesser tracks on a CD chock full of of righteous indignation. We like a good diatribe and PAIN have more than most.

Rarely veering far from rock solid dub/reggae backbeat, it's the keyboards of John and some clever wordplay from the assorted PAIN ministers that makes this, for the most part, powerful and affirmative. Unlike the wees they relentlessly promote:-) Top tunes are the very Blaggers like "Schtum", the more trad sounds of "Rocking Cross De Borda" and our particuloar favourite "Eastern Dub", which we hereby proclaim to be psychedubelia of the highest order. If Mark Thomas weren't so smug and had Sly & Robbie as his backing band, he mights ound like this. Excellent
