TADPOLES - Use With Headphones Late At Night

Well thats it then, one of the most innovative bands of the last decade, and I blame you. Yes, you. You know who I mean, git.

So what we have here is a a democratic 4 tracks from each of their 4 albums, plus the classic, "Judas, This Is Jesus" from the Know Your Ghosts EP. Its chronological so you can hear how they just got better and better. Oddly, nothing from "Destroy Terrastock", the fabulous live ceedee, but ther you go.

We like them so much, they use our blurb on their promo stuff:-) We say;
It's indie tinged, psyche spacerock, lovingly crafted and performed stylishly. It's psyche to the max but the Tadpoles make a unique sound which we previously compared to Spiritualized, but due to their inherent shiteness I'd point the finger at SPiritualized cast offs, Lupine Howl for something equally weird and enriching.

Make amends for your trangressions and see what you've missed all these years

RICK RAY - Insanity Flies

Without doubt the most prodigious performer we've ever encountered, Rick Ray returns with another helping of outstanding guitar instrumentation. As ever, it's a return to the glory days of 70s guitar histrionics, allied to top quality songwriting.

Aiming his pen at the usual array of alienation, globalisation and the evils that men do, Rick has put together another top qulaity release which ranks amongst his best. Favourites round our way include the mid paced yet powerful "Killing Pawns" which comes across as very Blue Oyster Cult and the freak on a leash paranoiac Roger Watersian "They've Created A Monster".

If you don't own several Rick Ray releases then you're not a very nice person. Rectify your mistakes now.
