Although doubtless being marketed by the good people at RCA as the next Sheryl Crow, SHEA SEGER is an artist who has created her own Southern soul sound, one she describes as 'mutt dog…bluesy pop with beats.'

Her debut album The May Street Project is out now and this sampler highlights six tracks, the best of which is "I Love You Too Much, an evocative romp. Possessed of a sultry and captivating voice, there's enough potential here to suggest that Ms Seger may have the ability to come out from under the shade of Sheryl and stand up on her own two feet.
